I rescued this boy yesterday from a local sale. Heat exhaustion!! Actually got him & a hen, but she didn't make it. I'm not sure exactly what he is though?

I think EE, too, but just to be one the safe side (considering his color is so similar to my Wheaten Ameraucana's), what color are his legs?

Easter Egger. He's almost wheaten, but not quite. There are a few indicators that the genetics for wheaten aren't in him. The beard, for one should be black, and his primary wing feathers should be red instead of black.
That makes him a non-standard color, placing him in the Easter Egger category.

His legs are actually almost a light blue looking color.

Like I said, he's close, but doesn't make the cut for Ameraucana. That puts him in the Easter Egger category.

Ty! Of course I don't really mind either way. He's a sweet boy & im just thankful he lived! He was in pretty bad shape on Sunday. I figured he wouldn't make it. But he did!
