She looks like she’s mille fluer with two copies of dominant white, which would dilute both the black and gold. I would call it “white mille fluer” but as an unrecognized variety she wouldn’t do any better than best of variety, so it probably wouldn’t be worth it showing her, except for fun. She is very pretty though!

@nicalandia would you agree that two copies of dominant white can be responsible for that degree of gold dilution? According to Sigrid Van Doort’s book it can.

Sally may not be show quality but she’s SHOW quality. She will be performing in the 4-H play. She is very good at the role of sitting and being cute, especially with a diaper weighing her down.
Very docile baby, quite active in the coop though.

I’m excited, I found some d’Anvers hatching eggs and I bought 6 for the Easter HAL! They are self blues. Not show quality but still so cute!
