And now, to judge the chickens themselves...

(top right is a Buckeye. I've owned all of these at some point except the Old English, and I still own the d'Anvers, bantam Buckeye, Silkie, and Marans.)

I’m not a showman so I don’t understand why each breed gets that alignment but I appreciate the use of the DND alignment format!

Why did you use a syndrome… actually, that name is quite appropriate for a guinea.

So how many people here play D&D? Not me, I just like the template. And making D&D characters. 😅
I don’t play either. Well I used to, a little bit, but I got distracted so easily since it was never really fun for me.

When I show, bantam Wyandottes are in the same class as d’Anvers and they always win because black and round is a lot easier to breed than quail and bouncy. So they are the enemy. 😤😤 Rosecomb, Sebright, d’Anvers, and Hamburg breeders aspire to defeat the Wyandotte breeders for champion RCCL.
But actually they are quite cool, of course.
White Plymouth Rocks are basically what you choose if you want to win. Because they are easy and look huge and judges like them.

So I am going to do an outcross. He was at a swap, I’ll admit, but he was five dollars and from a reputable breeder. John’s Poultry. (I really enquired into disease history.) He had so many nice cockerels it was hard for me to choose! So meet Fireball.
Since I am doing this to improve hatchability and reduce chick mortality I asked if he had any issues. After all, no point of doing an outcross if the birds have the same issues yours do. He said, only crossbeaks once in a blue moon.
