So cool. I haven't worked on mine lately been busy w/ two crochet block swaps.

I'm wanting to get back to working in this again, been side tracked w/ crochet square swaps.Thats a great start!!

Another good site is planetjune.com, For me the type of yarn I use depends on the project and how big I want it, for really small detailed projects I use a four ply but the skinny four ply like baby yarn or similar type yarn. When you are a beginner I find it easier to use the stiffer yarn and not the super soft stuff, you can switch to the super soft stuff as you get the hang of it. A good practice piece is on planet june it is the whale and it is a free patternOK so I just spent about 2 hours checking out amigurumi online. You have to google "a crochet ninja" her blog is too cute.
I am totally interested in doing a teddy bear. What kind of yarns are you guys using?
