An alternative to culling aka, not having to do the dirty work myself.

I would not have ever thought of that. Thanks.

Today I had to bury a sweet little girl quail who at 4 weeks drowned in her water. I hate finding them that way.

Monarc and Spooky, that is too cool that y'all do falcons. I'm very impressed. Monarc, my goodness, go for it! Life is way too short to not go after dreams.

Kenman,

Our local wildlife place was doing the same thing, even for chickens and i thought we were set with a place to take chickens we didn't want. Unfortunately when we called we found out they just stopped the program because they were affraid they would get diseased chickens and couldn't risk it.

so if there are any of you out there that cant handle culling stuff here is a human way to do it.. go get a block of dry ice at the grocery store toss it in a cooler and wait a few minutes open the top and put what ever animal needs to be culled in there close the lid and wait a little while. they go to sleep and never wake up. its carbon dioxide. like who some people commit suicide with the car running in the garage. same concept. I have lots of friends who use this method for sick rabbits of guinea pigs, chickens and other thiings should workt he same

ok I am off to get my quail now!!!
