An EE laying White Eggs?

So is this possible? I have only brown eggers (marans, orpingtons) and EEs and wheaten ameraucanas. The gals just started laying and I find this white standard egg (definitely not from my silkie pullet or mille fleur hen!). I am trying to remember what these EEs were crossed from (Dipsy....do you remember?) Everyone else is laying nice purty shades of blue and blue-green. I guess the blue gene skipped this pullet!

Yes it is possible that they can lay white or brown eggs....blue gene may have missed this gal LOL!

If this was her first egg, she may have not applied the blue coating as the egg passed. It happens sometimes. Also, as blue egg layers are coming to the end of the cycle (getting ready to stop laying), the color can reduce to an almost white color.

Anything's possible

Some of the [EE X (Lakenvelder x EE)] girls layed a very pale blue egg (pale to the point they *looked* white until you put them next to a white egg).

She laid another white egg! I don't know who laid it, cause I'm not home when the deed is done!

She just started laying.....so these are not old eggs...
