An Owl wiped out my PW flock (pics included)

I'm glad that your officer came and got the owl. It was sure pretty! You did the right thing and no one got into trouble, those naysayers got some bad officers in that lot! Ought to fire some of them for being rude otherwise, no one would have been treated badly that they would go so far to say bury the owl, or remove all traces of evidence.

If he had a family nearby, look at it this way, a new family on the way!

TennesseeTruly, I am so impressed by you!

You cared for your birds.

You cared for the owl.

You felt genuinely bad for all the losses.

Then, you shared your experience with everyone here, and we are all better for it.

THEN, you called DNR and helped to dispel the "fear factor" -- DNR is not our enemy, they are our partners. By calling them, you (and we) learned more about the owl and that there may be a mother and babies around.

Thank you, sincerely, for sharing and for your heart, and the responsible way you handled everything. Thank you!

I missed this post until just now.

Thank you for your input!

I really appreciate those with credibility dispelling myths and bringing reason to the table. Reason that we all benefit from.

Thank you for speaking up.

What is DNR? I am so glad everything worked out. What a caring person you are. To care so much for the Owl. And your babies. It was all so sad all the way around. But we have learned so much through you. Thank you for sharing and I am so sorry again for all the losses.
