"well i don't see or feel anything wrong with him besides the missing spur he just needs some rest. now i am going to go watch my chicks hatch!" he said and walked off to be with arya
by now one of the chicks was already out and starting to fluff the other two were pipping now. eragon finally got over there "oh, hes cute" he said when he saw the newly fluffed chick
"yes... he is" said arya with tears in her eyes

Sadie had been collecting herbs. When she went back to where fay had been she was surprised to not see her. She looked around and spotted her. "Eragon?? You cant let her walk yet, she could hurt herself! Im bringing them over here on the moss to sleep. DONT LET HER WALK AGAIN!!!" she added, lifting them up and bringing them to the moss.

by now the second chick a girl, hatched but the third egg was not doing anything
"please don't be dead.." arya pleaded but it was already too late for that chick so she pushed it out of the nest and away from her chicks then went with her brood to see her husband.
