the racoon swatted at eragon again but missed and eragon jumped on its head and looked at it upside down "i would think you could catch something as small as me!" then he jumped on its back and gracefully landed on the ground

the racoon spun around and growled "you insolent little fool!" then it lounged at eragon again aiming for his throat

falyn yelped as she saw the raccoon lunge and then noticed what she did and covered her beak

the racoon got distracted when it heard falyn so it missed then when it landed it said "wonderful! both of you should make a fine dinner!"

"RUN FALYN!!!!" eragon yelled jumping at the racoon again

she shook her head"im not running from a fight."she said then got an idea and started jumping from branch to branch saying"your all too slow."

he put his face in his wing (face palm ) then shouted "i really hate it when you do things like this!" then started attacking the other racoons

"little devils!!!" the leader shouted then three of the 7 racoons in the group started running after falyn on the ground

she laughed at eragon then put her wing out and a bolt of yellow lashed at some of the raccoons"oops."she said sarcastically

the bolt almost hit one of them the three that were chasing falyn slowed for a minuet then started full out running again,

eragon growled but continued attacking, all the while keeping a close watch on falyn with his mind

she just jumped from the trees and then she felt eragon and sent him a message"im not a kid i dont need you to watch over me."she said with a grumble

"yeah but i still need to keep an eye on you!" he said back still attacking the racoons

she sighed"fine"and then felt the branch she was one crack and decided to go to a different one but it broke before she could move and she fell to the ground"oof."she said
