"SSSHHHH" Sadie said. She felt horrible for even bringing up the subject. "it is fine to be scared Falyn. He will be fine, here eat this. it will make you feel better." she said, handing her the thyme

"Dante isnt back yet and im so worried,"she jumped up,"What if hes hurt or sick......i dont know what to do."she sobbed

just then a wolf appeared by the forest line,"Oh,how sad shes crying over her little brother."he scoffed,he started to circle around all of us then a few more came out and finally the biggest wolf came out and said,"Which one of you is in charge?"

Falyn whipped her tears and said,"I am,what do you want mutt?"

he snarled and said,"Were hungry and food is running low,if you sacrifice one or two of you well leave you alone,but if you resist,well kill all of you its your choice."

Sadie looked at Falyn. "I'll go" she said

"why can't you go find some rabits to eat or something? some of us have family's to take care of you know and i know how horrible it would be if your pups went missing, or you died and they starved because some horrible creature killed you and they were left alone" he told the wolf he was pretty small but that didn't stop him from standing up for the girls to make sure they didn't get hurt

"and no you won't go anywhere" he wispered so the wolves couldnt hear

"Eragon, i'll go" Sadie said, stepping forward.

Falyn stepped in front of Sadie,"Im going and no one else is,is that clear?Im the head hen and i say wahat goes n one else is being sacrificed for these wolves."she looked back and winked to tell them to run as soon as she attacked

"Very wise chicky."he chuckled

Falyn walked towarrds them and then jammed his eye with her beak and he lurched back barking in pain

"Your going to pay for that,Kill them all!!!!!"he screamed and they all lurched at chickens but Falyn ran in front of all of them and took each blow

"nobody needs to go anywhere! they are lieing filthy wolves they will only come back for the rest of us!" he told her
