Are all anconas rose combed? Where can I get them?

Absolutely not, quite the opposite; single comb Anconas have long floppy combs. Only Rose combed Anconas are rose combed, Joseph at Yellow House Farm does have Rose Combed Anconas.

We do breed large fowl RC Anconas. They are a good chicken. It is nice to see the growing interest in the RC's, because it is the collective effort towards a goal on the part of multiple breeders that leads to the development of truly superior stock.

It is one of the advantages that Anconas have over so many other breeds, i.e. there's only one color pattern. Breeds that have multiple color patterns suffer via the diffusion of efforts. One finds a whole number of breeders trying to maintain a number of obsolete varieties instead of focusing on the dominant variety of 2 or 3 varieties--tops. This especially holds true for large fowl. The more people that focus on RC Anconas the better because it will lead to unified, extremely high quality stock.

Hello. I just have found out my wyandotte chick is a ancona. So im joining this club now! But now I know the breed can someone have a look to see if its looking like a Cockrell or hen. I think its around 5-6 weeks.

This is my ancona pullet from Will Marrow. Don't know much about them. I think she is pretty. Nice even white spots. Let me know what you think.
