So I am still learning to sex these and I'm terrible at it. Any help in the best way? It's pretty funny I constantly have a duck upside down looking for it's parts...lol.

Not sure if you have ever sexed rabbits, but it works the same. Press down & out to open things up. Boy parts pop out & girls just have an opening.

Yeah I have tried that and sometimes I see little nubs but not sure if that's it or not lol...maybe I'm looking too early or late. When is the best time to check?

Yes supply and demand. There's no way I could get $10-15 in my area. There are two other major breeders within 1-4 hrs drive from me that have top of the line Anconas, and they both charge $7 at hatch. So that's why my price is $7 at hatch. I raise to $10 at 8 weeks. At that time most can be voice sexed too.

My guess is silkie and Sara don't have a lot of breeders around them, and since the Anconas are endangered and gaining more popularity people are willing to pay the higher prices. More power to them

I can never see anything before about 3 days. Then it wirks until feathers get too thick to see through.
