Mine have always just gone in at night by themselves. When they were little we use to have food and water in there, so at night they would go in to eat and we would just shut the door behind them. Now I just wait until it starts to get dark and go out and most of the time they are inside. There has been a few times they have given us trouble. There coop is in the side yard which is fenced off, so I herd them to the side yard and shut the fence, then they are in the coop within an hour and I go shut the door.
lucky my hens coop is right infront of the backdoor ill try putting them away closer to 7pm today mabye if it gets darker i won't have such a problem
When it gets dark they are pretty easy to get. A few times are ducks weren't in at night and I went out to grab them and they can't see as well at night, easy to grab![]()
