I keep thinking that they look like they have different parents, wondering if they have different dads. Supposedly a female can have pups from different dads, in the same litter... I love them

Simply because how there seems to be 3 very distinct looking puppies. The white ones look like pitts, the fawns and brindle look like boxers, and the speckled ones look like some type of terriers. I thought it odd that they could all come from the same parents. I was thinking different dads instead of moms because they all seem to be the same age, but hey, anything is possible! lolI have seen a wide variety of body types, fur textures and colors come up in the same litter, particularly when at least one parent is mixed. All of those colors are frequently seen in bully breeds, and they all seem to have the same coat; why do you think there are more than two dogs involved?
That's true, Who knows, lol. I've already found 3 homes for them, and will be giving them their first set of shots and worming before they go to their new homes. They're already very active and playful, and I have started to wean them. They will probably go to their new homes at seven weeks.Estrus in dogs lasts nine days, so many times breeders will breed a dog more than once during those nine days to ensure pregnancy. The cool thing about dogs is that while eggs may be fertilized at different times during the estrus cycle (For example, an egg could be fertilized on day one and another on day nine), the due date for pups is till 65 days from the beginning of estrus (known as the LH surge, which is the hormone responsible for ovulation.
That's just a complicated way of saying that yes, dogs can have litters with different fathers. However, since you found these guys, anything is possible. I do agree with the other poster that mixed breed dog litters can look totally different though.
Then you have seven weeks to play with them before they go…fun. That's true, Who knows, lol. They should leave in two weeks... I never knew how exhausting puppies could be! Gave them their last dose of wormer, and it was NASTY. I shudder every time I think about it... ugh. getting their shots this coming friday. I've done some research and I'm pretty sure that they're a Boxer, American Bulldog mix. They look almost exactly like the pics I found online. Then you have seven weeks to play with them before they go…fun.
