Is Western Pa where Gettysburg is?? Whats in that area. I know when I traveled through the Gettysburg surrounding area there were tons of goat dairies and dutch farms...it was beautiful. I hope to visit again soon.

The property had been on the market for years and the people that owned it just wanted to unload it. The only downside is my neighbors keep really junky yards, but there is only two of them and they are at the upper part of the dirt road. My visitors have to pass by and I'm sure first timers wonder what their getting into when they pass their places on the way to mine, but after seeing their's it makes my house look 100 times nicer when you actually get back here

The dirt road runs out into my gait. So its great. My kids and dogs can run loose, if a horse, or goat gets out its no big deal. I just have to shut the front gate and their locked in. Since the neighbors aren't uptight about their yard, if something of mine does wander up the road its not a big issue and I've learned to like my neighbors. They are just simple country people.

* My grandad had a lot of untouched acres *somewhere* in Kentucky. Mom said the old guy who lives at the road head property next to the highway is, um, pretty prone to greeting visitors with a shotgun, unless the sheriff is escorting. Even my uncles, who own it now and go hunting there don't get in easily, apparently.

Colorado is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. 30 miles South of the Wyoming border is a whole 'nother world- I would LOVE to be able to move down there. Trees, mountains, GRASS! Ah, such is life.

I'm an Indiana native, and it reminds me of home, with the addition of mountains

Hmmm...sounds a little like Fort Collins! I lived there for several years in college - great little town and always on the list for the best places to raise a family.
