And the nestbox wars continue!

Mine lay NEXT to the nest box, not in it.

And they line up like teenage girls waiting to use the bathroom, glaring at the one who is in the "spot" and letting her know she needs to get a move on it...

this is cute my girls are pretty okay when it comes to nest boxes ive got 12 hens and 10 nest boxes so its not bad they all do tend to go onto only 3 of them but thats okay lol its going to be different when the other 9 girls are at laying age and are in the coop

Okay, now this takes the cake!!!
Brigid, Maggie and Sunny have finished their bizness and left the coop. Snowy and Lilith are now sharing the box that nobody wanted before!

Snowy is sitting on top of Lilith, with her behind hanging out the box opening. I went ahead and shoved her the rest of the way in, so her egg wouldn't drop on the floor.

Poor Lilith.

I prefer not to call it being in their bizness too much. We are having cow issues (again!) so I have to be out there alot, checking on things. Might as well check the status of the war while I'm out there, right?
