The goose I have rescued with the severed foot....also has the beginning of Angle Wing. His pin feathers are just starting to show.. so i am hoping to correct it....


Tips? Treatment?

Yes, I just noticed it on the other thread. Tuck the feathers up where they should lie, and wrap them in place using the second part of his wing for support if you understand that. Wrapping both of the parts of his wing together. It´d hang down a tad at first as he gets used to the feel of it, but after a bit he´ll be fine. He should be ok after a week, it doesn´t look too bad yet.

I put some vet wrap on him Saturday night and took it off last night (monday) so he could have a good swim and stretch. It's fixed! well, it seems to be fixed! Thanks guys!

We are still not out of the woods with the other wounds, but we are steadily working to get better!!!

That´s good. Just keep an eye on it that it doesn´t start again, but usually it stays good.
