Well, I had a pup once. She was a holy terror and it lasted for quite some time. I cried many nights and even thought about rehoming her. She settled at about 2.5 yrs!
But, sadly we lost her at 4 yrs to cancer.

I remember telling my husband when we first got her, "I'm going to hate her for the first four months"... And I was right.
I'm sorry you lost her. That is so sad.
