I needed to be on campus today so Niven had to stay in her crate until I got home. She was not happy as I was getting ready to leave and gave me all of her most pitiful looks. But I, heartless woman that I am, ignored her pleas. Then to add insult to injury, I prepared the lizard’s salad right in front of her. Pity the poor Niven
