It had empty half gallon jars in it. I think she was interested in the smell because it was in the basement which she doesn't have access to.

A red colored pencil???

A so-called watercolor pencil. I had never seen them before but a friend gave them to my kids. Apparently you dip the tip in water for a watercolor-like picture.
