A couple days ago I was in the kitchen cooking. My 6 yr old ran to me and exclaimed, "Angeline went outside!"
I quickly asked if he meant "outside" outside or just outside her cage and he said "OUTSIDE" outside.
Naturally I started to freak out as a turned off burners and mentally scrambled to think how I was going to catch her if she was hopping around free outside when he further clarified, "But I shooed her back inside."
good grief, kid. That's a relief but you sure scared me.
