ok laughing at diapering a chicken!!!! sorry, really i'm sorry for
laughing but i can't lie...i'm laughing

I have to ask.... WHY in the WORLD would you want to diaper a chicken????

I don't have any words of advice-I've never tried to diaper a chicken. Fifteen years ago I did try to put a harness on my kitten at the time, Bob. I tried it many times-it made him unable to walk or even to stand up. I finally was defeated by him-and eventually he forgave me!!! Good luck with this diapering challenge!

A lot of people keep their "fancy" chickens (bantams, cochin, frizzles etc.) in the house, and diaper them to keep from having a dirty house too.

I understand about keeping them inside...but in the same breath i never hear of anyone diapering their parrots, cockatiels, or budgies. I just find it humorous and got quite the good hearty chuckle out of it.

Did you try feeding her her favorite treats while she is wearing the diaper? I got my chickens to get used to wearing a small dog harness this way so I would walk them out of the yard. Distraction is powerful weapon when dealing with bird brains.
