Animal friends of different species, share your photos

Post it....:wee

I added some blankets and moved a cat bed so there was enough to share, but again, last night, the injured cat went to bed with the 13 year old dog. Its the first time he ever got hurt because he's only one year old, I feel like my old dog is guiding him through it or something... they have slept on the floor together every night this week. He's starting to feel better so I'm curious how long it will last.

:woot Sue, this might be my favorite picture yet! I cannot wait until I have enough land for a burro. It's in the works and whenever I talk about the burro I'll be getting to protect my flock there is zero protest from the husband. I don't know if he just ignores it as part of my daydreaming or if he's fully on board, but either way, I'll take it. Davy looks like an old man in this picture and loving the grooming from the guineas!

I used to have a donkey but when I got divorced and had to sell the farm I had to let him go. :( They are GREAT pets! More like dogs than anything else. I wouldn't trust one a livestock guardian though.... mine would let the foxes come in the pasture with him and the horse and completely ignored them. But yet he would try to stomp the dogs and barn cats! :hmm

I can pretend it will be a good guardian if it helps win the argument to adopt one though right ... It seems like a good excuse to bring one home to me!

Oh he loved the guineas. What he didn't love was getting his hooves trimmed. If you go shopping for a donkey do make sure it will let you pick up all 4 feet! This is essential.

This is not something I would have even thought of, never having owned a donkey. Thank you! I swear I learn something never every day on here.
