Animal pasture/barn? Goats ducks geese chickens and more all in one pasture?

On my property we have two barns, one in the front and by the road and one in the back with not much grazing space. Didn't people used to keep most of there animals in one barn? Would it work to keep goats and poultry in one barn? The poultry would have a place the goats couldn't get to for their food. They would have roosts and all that. Could they all share a pasture too? Any other things I should know about goats?

Goats an poultry can coexist quite peacefully, so long as all their needs are met, and they cannot access each other's feed.
