It would help keep me from going insane as I sort through 3 pages of listings.
Even if you subscribe, if no one ever posts a message then it's no help. I know I'll get a message if I won or get outbid, but usually I just want to remind myself which auction is ending at what time.
I did not read all 23 pages of posts, but I have a suggested.
Auction Listings (Which I like the new format)
I think it would be nice if on the list of auctions in addition to the BUY IT NOW price or the Current Bid, the Shipping Cost was listed as well. When I am reviewing the auctions, I am interested in the total cost and it would be nice if I did not have to click on the auction to find out if the shipping is included or is $5 of $15.
Give it some thought and if someone has already suggested, sorry for the double post.
A few suggestions on ways to increase the feedback percentages on our new BSA system....
When is it explained to the buyer or seller that their feedback on the buy/sell transaction process is so needed and helpful to future buyers/sellers?
Some of my new buyers are having trouble finding the link for feedback.
I haven't bought anything since the new system on the BSA board, so I wondered what kind of information they get. I have bought from members, but not there.
For example, I get the auction closed notice. But no encouragement in that pm to fill out information about the buyer. (could the auction closed notice be expanded to say whether you are the buyer or seller, please fill out the rating on this page regarding how your transaction went. Feedback should reflect the buying experience itself and not the hatching rates) similar to guidelines in our "old system"
If our system had the capacity to send one pm and another pm to the buyer that would be even best with a direct link - to the actual feedback section .....not just the auction.
If we could not do one kind of pm for buyer and another for seller, then I suggest we have a sentence to say something like, "whether you are the buyer or seller, please fill out the rating on this closed auction (again, with the direct link to the feedback portion in that sentence) It helps others benefit from knowing the experience you have had. Feedback should reflect the buying/selling experience itself and not the hatching rates" (I'm modelling this on some of the language from the old system).
I think that help increase the percentage of feedbacks resulting from those BSA ads.
Don't know if this was clear, but pm if you need more information.
We'll look into adding some kind of feedback reminder. Until then, we suggest that all sellers send a nice note to the buyers after the transaction is completed (paid and shipped) and ask them for feedback with a link to the listing.

Thanks Nifty, I'm doing that and appreciate your looking at a feedback reminder (especially with that direct link to the portion to fill out if it's possible)..... I so appreciate all that you, and the staff and moderators do.....If I haven't told y'all that lately, shame on me!
