Lurky it looks like another Border collie, or border Aussie mix. She is a spittin image of Sassy. Sassy is still a pup, and I actually got to pull out one of her teeth today (it was hanging by a thread). I am betting she will be about 30 lbs. which isnt very big.I dont think there is any minanture Aussie in her, those only get up to 10 lbs. max.

Justasnake I cant use Jasper for his name we already have a cat nemed that. It would get very confusing trying to figure out which pet we were talking about.

He is still name less. I have never had such a hard time naming a pet. He is proving to be just as smart as Sassy, He cries when he needs to go to the bathroom. He also has decided to sleep in our bed (thank God its a King size). And he is turning out to be a good guard dog. Every time he hears some thing out of the ordinary, he goes off barking the cute little puppy bark. He is scared of the chickens. He came out with me this morning to feed them, and chickens know that I am coming to feed them so all 37 of them come stampeding over to me. And for a guy of his size he thought he was going to get ate. Sassy will play with him but she is territorial over her toys, and gets after him. But in the long run I think that they will learn to get a long better, and even make a couple litters of puppies. Anyway keep the names coming. Thanks

Chelly, you would be really surpised at what my kids do to my computer. My 4 year old knows more about all the computers than I do. And my youngest has sat on our lap while we were at the computer since he was brand new. I get up and go do something, and then he comes right behind me and starts pushing buttons. We have a wire less mouse and key board, and if I dont remember to pick them up and put them out of sight, he will take them off and hide them from me.

As for the puppy still no name..... I am begining to feel bad for him because we have had him almost a week now and none of us can agree on a name for him. I want a good strong, yet unusual name. He is going to grow up to hopefully be a speed demon on the agility coarses, and a good stud to Sassy. :barnieMy DH isnt helping in this because he wants to call him Tubs, or Grunt because he grunts all the time. I want his name to really fit him for when he is older, not for the noises and puppy fat he has right now.

I am literally begining to get fustrated with this name thing. I have liked a lot of the names you all have provided me. Especially Jonah, and Kingdom. I also really like Jake, since it is short for Jacob, which is my sons name.
:pSo if all else fails I could name him Jake and then only have to call one name and my son and the dog would both come.

Or call him Jasper and would call that name and he and our cat would come running.

The right name will come to you......it's taken a week or two sometimes for the right name to come to me....other times the right name has hit me when I first time I saw them.

What about Bob? Or Maynard? Or you're from Montrose- what about Monty or Rosy( like Grier!) We have a Merlin and a Molson, would those work? Ralph? Noah? Mario? Emeril? I know, they're unusual... What about a name from a favorite character in a book or movie or TV show? Or a favorite great uncle?

Fras, then you'd have Sassy & Fras...............SassyFras

sas·sa·fras

sas·sa·fras [sássə fràss]
(plural sas·sa·fras)
n
1. N American tree: a deciduous tree with aromatic bark, lobed leaves, and small bluish fruits. Native to: eastern North America.
Latin name: Sassafras albidum
2. flavored bark: the dried root bark of the sassafras tree. Use: flavoring, perfumes, medicines.

[Late 16th century. < Spanish sasafrás ]

I looked up the definition after thinking of the name, I don't think your dog looks like a tree, just thought the combo of the two names would be cute!!!
