Keep her in till she's clearly feeling better (walking normally, has some feather growth, eating really well...). She can have short visits with her buddies daily so that you don't have reintegration issues down the road.

sooo. i brought the hen back with her flock today.

i did it early, so i can check up on her. there was alot of "talk"

going on in the coop


one hen said "so whats it like in the human house"

another hen said "i see your much better now"

yet another hen said "so what did you do to go in the warm house, i need to do it too"

and the big man rooster said "grrrrr you'd better get your act together lady"

all fun when you own chickens.

now i was thinking, maybe they all need a "cage" lock up experience.... then a big "nah" came out of the human mouth. ha
