another deleting messages idea

When deleting multiple messages could the delete box be put to the left of the subject instead of to the right of the date?

I deleted a few messages I didn't mean to because I didn't follow the line

Being on a wide screen makes it even worse.

And if it's decided to do that, could you also put the "delete multiple messages" link in a more noticeable place, like under sent?
