My EE's are 8-9 weeks and have no red whatsoever in their combs, and barely any comb at all. I'd guess male on that one, but I'm no expert. Just comparing yours to mine.

It's not just three bumps, it's three *rows* of bumps. It can be harder to see on the younger boys, but if you look closely, there's another small row on either side of the main row. Hens just have the center row.

Hen's have 3 rows as well, they are just not as prominent and don't usually show up until they are closer to laying.
