I have another idea that might be a little controversial. Im thinking we need to have members of this swap to have been members of BYC for a certain period of time. I dont think its a very good idea to have someone sign up to BYC and jump right in swapping, when no one really knows them. I dont think a minimum number of posts is fair, since we have a lot of members who have been here a while who just arent as blabby as some of us. Maybe a requirement that swappers have been member of BYC for 90 days or something like that?

I think it's a great idea also. Nobody likes excessive rules, but not everyone thinks the same way or has the same ideas concerning consideration to other swappers and a sense of "fairness". Well established guidlines ensure that everyone is treated the same way, with an even playing field. I think this setup will encourage new swappers, and increase the opportunities for more people to participate, with less chance of "repetition" of the same offers and participants. These very simple to follow guidlines will help everyone to be a "team player", and will keep the offers more even in their value and desirability. Just my 2 pennies.
