Congrats! I have buff orps as well mine are 15 weeks old now and I cant wait for there first eggs. Do you have any pics off your coop?

These 2 BO girls were both 16 weeks on 9/5 and I have a 3rd 1 who also has developed the very red comb and face in the last few days. None of them are laying yet , I PRETTY SURE. lol I have a couple of red sex links who started to lay on the 5th.
The sex links are flaring and squatting but the BO's are not

Lol I am happy for you I am remembering my birds layed their first egg on April 1st my dad put a store bought egg in the nest as a mean joke and then the hens layed two eggs in one day LOL I guess it just set them off it sure gave me a laugh went out and was like wow one nice egg later that day one was in the feeder and one in the nest box a marans and faverolle!
