Another gender thread! Thanks in advance!

Pekin/cochin - cockerel. I'm not certain that the Polish is a cockerel.
So we’re decided that Dilophosaurus (the Pekin with red bits) is a boy.

But not 100% on T-Rex (the polish). Is there any way I can tell as he/she gets older? Might more photos help? To be honest I’m clutching at straws as I’d like a female but strongly suspect a boy!!

Hi all,

I’ve joined and introduced myself on the other thread. Hello! :frow

We had our flock of 4 birds (2 Silkies, 2 bantam brahmas) reduced to just the Silkies by a fox, so we’ve recently hatched 3 eggs so the girls have now been joined by a polish and 2 Perkins. Lovely birds! Pictures below.

I was hoping to get some confirmation on the genders of the new chicks? For clarity, the flock is (with their names):

White Silkie - Repeckah - female (100%)
Black silkie - Billie - female (100%)
Black Pekin with red gobbly bits - Dilophosaurus - male?
Black pekin with little yellow bits - Saltasaurus - female?
Brown Polish - T-Rex - male?

Once the male(s) start crowing we’ll have to get rid of them as we live in a residential area sadly. Not even sure how we go about that :idunno

Thanks,
Dave
Your polish is a very beautiful cockerel.

Haha, thank you all.

He/she hatched on 21 September. So around 12.5 weeks. I was she he/she was a boy initially, but as their hair has started to curl over I’ve become unsure! I value expect judgements, of course.
