I have another chicken suffering the same issues I lost two to in the last few months: lethargy, closed eyes, head down, little to no drive to eat or explore, etc. The last two died the same day I noticed it, I may have caught this case a bit sooner. I have dosed the hen’s water with Corid (1.5 tsp/gal powder) and trickled the water down the affected hen’s throat- what else can be done?

Attaching pics for reference.

Have any of your affected chickens coughed or sneezed or had bubbly eyes? I notice this hen may have a swollen right eye. Do you notice it's more swollen than the left?

You have posted pictures of the feet. Does anything about the feet concern you?

Can this hen walk and stand? Any balance problems? Were any of the prior sick chickens experiencing balance problems?

How old were all the sick chickens including this one?

Cough/sneeze/bubbly eyes/swollen eyes different: Not observed

Feet were for reference (to rule out mites/severe bumble foot)

Some balance issues, slow to walk/stand but did amble over to scratch when provided.

All previous sick chickens had identical symptoms.

First affected- approx 16 weeks
Second- approx 25 weeks
Third (current)- approx 30 weeks

Thank you all for your help and concern, it truly speaks to your generosity of spirit.

Keep treating for corid til you finish treatment. Make sure you mix new corid daily in waterer and directly give her some in her mouth a few times a day to insure shes getting it in her system. I prefer the liquid corid over the powder, I always felt like the powder didnt mix completely with the water and never knew if enough was in the water to treat properly, but thats just my opinion.

Also have you gotten any new chickens in the past few months prior to this happening? Or are these sick chickens from someone elses stock, not born at your house? If so how old were they when you acquired them?

This is not to alarm you. There's more chance you're dealing with coccidiosis than Marek's, but if this hen should die and you choose to do a post-mortem on her, this video shows you what to look for.

Corid is not the solution of anything
If their poo have abnormalities like blood mucus or anything odd similar with coccidiosis I only start corid then ..but otherwise I will look and inspect more symptoms

If u lost two earlier have u done autospy on them ? To know what's going wrong

I feel like ND (Newcastle) did they stumble like drunk , can't able to walk?
But it can.be a Nutrient Requirements Or Vitamin Deficiency
In India People Treat ND with.help.of Garlic , basil , neem along with multivitamin threapy and their chooks Recover

Some deficiency mimic like dangerous diseases or virus

I see Her PICS she's having clear eye no pale , no redend feather , no black marks on feets , no discoloration NO Marek's

Can you buy some.poultry multivitamin and start giving her i.will recommend give straight in her beak 1-2 drops for daily

I'm sure u will see improvment

But do tell her poop how it looks like.?

6 chickens were purchased from a feed supply store (local). One turned out to be a cockerel, and was returned and replaced with two new hens (within about 3 weeks of original flock). No new birds since then.
