Okay, so I have been convinced that these two frizzled Easter Eggers were hens, because of their lack of combs and waddles, demeanor, timidness, sounds, etc. However, there have been a couple of things that make me wonder if I'm mistaken, especially with the grey and black one. First is the long tail feathers that curl down, and second is the fact that when I brought one of them in it stood up tall and flapped its wings kind of like roosters do sometimes. They are 14 weeks old. Please let me know what you think. Merry Christmas!!!

The white and grey one is a male. He has male specific saddle feathers and hackle feathers. You can see at the base of the tail that those feathers are very thin and pointed. By the way, he isn’t frizzled he is smooth feathered. Frizzle genes only go to 50% of the chicks.
The frizzled one is a female though! She has nice rounded saddle feathers and a small comb.
