We have four chicks that are about 5 weeks old - one Easter Egger, one Black Australorp, and two Cuckoo Marans. They were all supposed to be pullets. The Easter Egger I'm pretty sure is a pullet because of her coloring, the Australorp I'm pretty sure is a roo because of comb and attitude, but the Marans I'm not sure about. When we first got them Coke was a lot bigger than Pepsi. They have about equalized in size now but Pepsi has a slightly larger comb and is less feathered while Coke has more distinct black/white barring. Are they just different ages (from a feed store bin) or did we get one pullet and one cockerel? TIA.
