I'm sorry for posting another frustrated/sad thread but no one else seems to understand why I'm upset (certainly not the USPS). Last week, I had my very first McMurray shipment come on Tuesday (3 days after shipment). There were supposed to be 26, they shipped 21, and between DOA's and ones lost in the first 48 hours, I only had six left. I did everything I could based on reading these threads for the weak ones but they just didn't make it. McMurray sent a replacement batch on Saturday. I was hoping it would come Monday this time but now it's Tuesday and they're not here (and I've been told they won't come today now). To make matters worse, I checked the tracking and the only entry is that they were received at St. Paul MN at 1 am on Saturday- which must mean they were shipped on FRIDAY! When they do show up, I'm going to have a box of dead chicks. No one can help me locate them. The post office says it's McMurray's fault, McMurray says it's the post office's fault. And 26 baby chicks are slowly dying in a box god knows where. I know the final fault rests with me because I ordered from so far away. And I was realistic that there were going to be losses because of it. But I can't be responsible for the deaths of dozens of baby chicks. It's hurting my heart. Sorry for rambling but I'm just sitting here waiting for someone to call me back. I feel kind of helpless right now.
