Another Hurt Black Swedish Duckling!

Ok, i will try that. so far it hasnt worked. it doesnt want to drink so i have to force it. it wont eat either. well, i have to leave home for a couple hours, but ill let you know how things are when i get back.

SHE is finaly eating! I found out today she is a she. i put her in the water and held my hands under. she started to roll over and got nervous; she "honked". I didnt know she was old enough to. Anyhow, Still alive, she is finally eating and drinking well. we gave her 1/2cc of spectrum and lots of vitamin/electrolyte water. i think she has toxoplasmosis. She has all the symptoms of it anyhow. she shivers/tremmors, and cant move ler legs. she rolls over onto her back and cannot swim without help. she is not blind but i found her before she got really bad.

I've had this happen with my swedes I've found that it is enviormental and I just took them out of there...... sorry to here about your duckies

Did you have to deplete your entire flocks? I read on Wikipedia that inorder to prevent others from having it, I have to deplete all birds who have come in contact with it.... which is 104 chickens, 27 quail, and 18 other ducks. should i KILL them all like it suggests? Or just wait it out?

I dont know if it was this toxo...whatever but i've had a couple ducklings with similar symptons before....it usually happend to me in the brooder away from everything else.... i have this rabbit hutch that i put them in and it makes them sick.... not the chickens just the ducks so i dont know..
