I still use my washer, but I hang my cloths....I do have a dryer...but trying to save and go back to the old ways....Terri have you seen a show called "FRONTIER DAYS"? it take families from our time...and puts them way back in the 1800 cloths and all...
They start them off with live stock, chickens, flour, sugar etc...put them in a little make shift town, and they have to live off the land...I fell in love with the show...its on dvd...they dont show it on tv any longer.
Here you go Terri, I watched all the shows that PBS put out on this...and man, it was awesome to see. Cell phones taken away, instead given pencil/paper....woman werent allowed to take there makeup...no shaving for the men either...etc etc....go read about it...I would have love to beena contestant!!!!
I didn't get to see that one. I know one network did the same thing with one horse ranch and another network did one in Australia with a sheep ranch. Don't remember there names.... That was something like 5 or 6 years ago.
Oh!! I would have LOVED to watch that... I never really got into too many reality shows (although my love for music and singing has me watching American Idol on occasion) but that looks neat! I've always wondered what Amish country would be like.. lol... I can go without my phone.. But, I'm not sure I could do away with my laptop though..
I just checked the USPS tracking # and it *FINALLY* updated! My eggs left Fayetteville, NC today which means they will be in St Pauls facility tonight and in my hands TOMORROW!!!!!
Ummmmm... isn't that nice?
OOOOOOOHHHHHHH!!!!!! I'm finally "Chillin with my peeps"!!!!!!!!!!
