He's a pretty guy!I think that they are definitely pullets. Our cockerel already had saddle feathers and a great big tail and comb at that age, and, though this varies between roosters, you’d probably start to hear crowing any day now. Here’s a picture of our boy at 17 Weeks.

Aw, I’m sorry. I hate when that happens.Sorry you lost one of them. It's frustrating when you've gotten them that far along. I just lost a Lavender Silver-laced Orpington pullet for no reason.
