another name for hardware cloth?

home depot sells 1/2 inch 2'x100' hardware cloth for $25. cheapest i found

some folks also call it rat wire. Maybe search under that. I have a company down the road from me that is called Critter Control. They always have a hugh pile of end pieces that are free for the taking. They are usually 4' by 4' or larger. I go and get a truck load everytime. May take more pieces for what I want to do, but hey, it's free.
