View attachment 1518413 Pippin, my 10 month old Leghorn, just started limping today, favoring her left foot a lot, and just wanting to sit. She was dirtier than normal, so I gave her a soak and soaked her feet to do a good inspection. Although she is favoring her left, I am wondering about bumblefeet in both feet. I tried to get her to take 1/2 an aspirin, but her sisters ate it before she would take it. Eating, drinking, any laying normally.

Well it’s been a long few weeks of soaking and skin peelings and dressings and isolating poor Pippen. We finally ended up at a chicken vet who said it wasn’t a severe case but that Pippin needs oral anabiotics and not surgery. I had not read that as an option online. And after three days she’s already starting to clear up finally. She’s been a trooper, sometimes even falling asleep in my arms during soakings. LOL.
