The run or pen-we have attached to the coop a fenced pen that is protected with fencing on all sides and top. The floor is grass and dirt. What is best method for cleaning up the poop? Tried raking but that does not seem to get most of it. I also pick up with gloves. Thinking about changing to sand in the coop in place of pine shavings. Maybe throw sand on the floor of the pen?
