There are two of them, what are they? They are supposed to be brown egg layers.

How old are they and did they look like chipmonks when they were chicks?
If they did I'm guessing #1 Chipmonk Easter Egger #2 Welsummer Both look like pullets

Ok, I have to learn the hard way about posting on here...yes, you are all correct in that they are chickens...you are even correct that they are hens...

WHAT BREED?
I don't know what they looked like as chicks, I just got them, and they are supposed to be over 1 yr.

Are they bantam or Standard sized? That would help narrow down possible breeds

#1 looks kind of like an EE
#2 has a Very Game hen-ish tail!

They are smaller than my BO & BR, even my young RIR. They are older, so I'd have to go with bantam size.

They are part American gamefowl I say. Purity I cannot comment on, since they look pure, but if they do lay brown eggs it is 100% guarantee they were crossed plus personality and such would have to come into play.

The one on the left in the 1st picture which is the same in the second picture looks like a young Wellsummer to me...I have one named Marilyn
