Thanks, everyone, for the replies. Since I have so many comments favoring game birds & a couple for welsummer's is it possible they are a mix of both? They look just like pictures of BOTH breeds--how is that possible? Well, the one in the left of the 1st pic, anyway. I like the coloring & as long as they lay brown eggs, I'm happy with that. Do game birds make good supper?
