Kat you ARE right. If they release him to a desk job, the MUST provide one immediately. Period. GAWD I hate WC. So many nightmares for the injured!!!!

I must work for the same City your Hubby works for?? lol- I am on L&I also and they released me yesterday for only light duty the next month. The City wont even give me a schedule to work. Its almost like they want me to sit on L&I and I want to go back. They were hounding me before the surgery to give them a date I will return but now they dont want me.The Dr told me he would release me back to my hours but the City can say they have no light duty and then I have to stay on L&L and if the City puts me in a lower paying position then L&I will pick it up and pay the wage I was making when I fell.
