Ok guys! so I currently have 5 cayuga (girls as far as I know) who are to lay any day now. But over a few weeks ive noticed one duck doesn't always hang out whith the others. She will sit directly on other side of a piece of fence or simply not follow the others off to graze, preferring to do her own thing. She seems perfectly fat and healthy and acts fine. They were raised whith chickens though so could she simply prefer the lazy teenage chicken life style?(the chicks they were raised whith still visit them pretty often)
Is this a cause for concern? About 50% of time they'll all be together but the other 50% she is off doing her own thing. Could the other 4 have paired off even being females and left her to her own devices(if so is she fine to bond whith a chicken? or should I even the duck number?) First time Duck flock owner here so thanks for Any tips! Heres some picks of them today when i was setting up a new duck area for them before summer hits!

We have an odd number of ducks that mostly hang together. A couple of the hens will go off on their own but not often. Really I just wanted to say pretty ducks.
