Antibiotic Injections!?

Hi Birdlovers
I have big white ducks and one got bitten by a dog. The wing almost came off and we amputated by elbow. Horrible. Cleaned it very well and disinfected it and it is healing very well. Gave the duckling (6 weeks old) Rimadyl and Sulmet in water. It has been 5 days now and duck eats and drinks fine. When i change bandages it is a little yellow slimy where sore is. But does not smell like a bad infection.

My question is what antibiotic injections can i use for the duck? Im a little iffy about the Sulmet. It was the only thing they had at the feedstore. I can not get Duramycin 10 powder anywhere. Everybody is out!
Can I give Duramycin injection 200mg/ml like 0.24ml IM?

I just dont want lil Pato get infected now everything is going so well.

Not real sure what to suggest for you. Maybe someone with more experience, but in the mean time.

Thank you all for your welcome greetings. It is very warming. Im still an egg! I didnt know you had a duck section
I appreciate your tips and info.

Pato is looking good. Swelling down and stump has normal color, no bad smells and soar on the tip is trying to heal. Still that yellow little slime in bandages. maybe its normal and im over worried. Just dont want it to go downhill from here.
