Thank you! That is the yeast I ordered. I was wondering about adequan. That is so good to know! I have 2 bottles left from my dog that recently passed. I will try those on her. I think I even have cosequin too! I can tell the swimming really helps her. I think she is the only duck that prefers not to be in the water. She starts really making a fuss when I take her to the pool. She loves now when I hold her with my hands under her wings and she flaps like crazy and thinks she’s flying and I take her all around the yard like that and also will lower her next to the male and he runs along side her so she thinks they are on an adventure together! Do you know what the dose would be for the adequan? And is it weekly or 2x a week in beginning like with dog? I have been searching online and can’t find it. I’m hoping to get her started on that soon. I need to get her treats tomorrow that hopefully she likes that I can put the B-vitamins on. I’m going to try the frozen peas I hear people use those a lot. Thanks again for your help. I have hope for her now!

i use mealworms for the liquid b complex. idk about adequan injection dosage for ducks but perhaps @casportpony can tell us ?

Oh I love it!! What a good Mama! I had no idea they loved them so much!! It took a bit but my girl finally started eating them and I had he B complex on it so that was way easier on both of us! I have the mazuri pellets and I put them on her water would I just sprinkle the yeast on them in the water? Sorry for all the questions! I just want to get it right! Thank you!

i think the nutritional yeast will float in the surface of water, so it’s not a great idea to do it that way. but you can make a ‘mash’ with any duck feed even the Mazuri will work just soak it in warm water and then mash it up , about as thick as oatmeal consistency , and stir in the nutritional yeast.
when I make a mash, I have found it takes about twice as much water as Feed to get it a good consistency.
