antiseptic to use around face

my white leghorn has a really raw looking face where she has been scratching it with her feet...the skin isn't broken but it's nasty looking...i tried using watered down alcohol and rubbing it around the area with a q-tip but she hated it...idk what else to use that will help but not harm her...and there was also a fungus looking thing on it this morning but the alcohol cleaned it up a little bit...thanks for the help

A saline wash (basically saltwater) is best for cleaning, and you can probably put neosporin (without painkiller) over the area. I wouldn't put it in her eyes though.
