That's great! They'll be a big help. What kind of chicks are them?I have a few close friends locally who are very experienced who have also been guiding me through this process. There's no way I would go full hard mode solo.

I did the random rare and got a weird looking white Polish rooster. He was fun. His name was Fluffy because I was 9 or 10, I think.Ended up with 15, since my other friends ended up with a bunch of roosters with their hatching eggs. I've got Lavender Orpingtons, Olive eggers, Cream Legbars, Blue and Golden Cuckoo Marans. The rest of the order are Leann's st run bargain, a random rare female, and a Meyer meal maker.

they won't answer their phone. There are 2 post offices for my zip (yay city life) and I can't figure out which one I need to go to.Have you contacted your local PO to let them know they are coming?
That can really help.
Oh, That's tough.they won't answer their phone. There are 2 post offices for my zip (yay city life) and I can't figure out which one I need to go to.
I get delivery through the Oakland hub too — including a Halloween week shipment of chicks. IME, once a box is in their hands, they move it as quickly as possible (especially if the box is chirping) to local offices. Mine arrived from Iowa a day earlier than the original estimate. Here’s hoping your experience will be the same.I am awaiting my first chicks. I ordered them from Meyer Hatchery with a hatch date of 11/30. I got a notification from USPS that delivery will be later than expected (Dec 4th). Is it ok to start panicking now? I'm surprised considering I live near a big USPS Hub (Oakland, CA). Has anyone had chicks shipped recently?
